The hood with blind fret and dentil cornice and outset spiral twist columns, conforming inset columns flanking the arched door decorated with floral carving, the plinth with canted angles, the 12in. cut-away brass dial with mask and foliate spandrels to a brass Roman and Arabic chapter ring, inner concentric calendar ring, the centre engraved with foliate scrolls, blued steel hands, the four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 84¾in.
