A version of the composition that had passed from the collection of the Dametos family, Marquises de Bellpuig, Ca'n Puig, Palma, Mallorca, by descent to the Truyols family at Ca'n Puig was sold, Christie's, on the premises, 25 May 1999, lot 720, as Circle of Otto van Veen (2.64 million pesetas).
