ELVIS PRESLEY SHIRT FROM "DOUBLE TROUBLE"
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1967
A brick-red rayon shirt with a button-front and a flared collar worn by Elvis as he portrayed American singer, Guy Lambert. Seen in the long sequence when Guy sings in a smoky European nightclub, then accompanies Jill Conway, as played by Annette Day, to her hotel room and then sings again on a moving chicken truck, EP wears a white jacket over this shirt, but its distinct collar and V-neckline are still evident. An interior label reads Anton/225 So. LaCienega Blv/Beverly Hills, Calif. while the initials EP are sewn below.
