No.2030, retailed by Klaftenberger. Circa 1870
The gorge case engraved overall with foliage and with repeat button and rectangular bevelled glass viewing aperture in the top, the white enamel Roman and Arabic chapter disc with blued steel Breguet style hands and indistinctly signed Klaftenberger, white enamel alarm disc below, within a foliate engraved gilt mask, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform lever escapement with bimetallic balance, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs with three position sonnerie selection lever in the base, movement and case numbered 2030
