The case engraved overall with foliage and flower heads on a hatched ground, arrow-head handle to the top, swivel stand in the base punch-numbered 1064, the rear cover signed C.F. HANCOCK. By appointment to the PRINCIPAL SOVEREIGNS & COURTS OF EUROPE. 39 Bruton St. LONDON, with hinged stand, winding lever and escapement viewing portal, the dial signed C.F. HANCOCK LONDON in a reserve within the silvered florally engraved dial with painted Roman chapter ring and fine blued steel fleur-de-lys hands, the four pillar going barrel movement signed THOs COLE LONDON on the back plate, lever escapement with steel three-arm balance
