Lot 139Charles F. Fish (b. 1859, Fall River, MA) began acquiring photographs of Native Americans after travelling to the west in 1875. He continued to collect throughout his lifetime, amassing early and diverse images, many of which went on exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History in 1921.
