A VERY RARE AND POSSIBLY UNIQUE KNOT
Obediah Verity, Seaford, New York, third quarter 19th century
In feeding posture, with initials "J.B." branded on underside and "G.V." carved in bottom. Possibly the only feeding knot by Verity in existence
Finely detailed, original paint with minor wear; small crack to underside of head; minor shot scarring, particularly to one side
