Lot 11 slightly damaged capsule. Damp-affected label. Lot 12 slightly damp-affected labels, three slightly damaged. Levels: one into neck, ten base of neck and one top-shoulder. Lot 13 slightly damp-affected labels, eight very damaged. Levels top-shoulder
Tasting note: starting to shed some of its colour and to mature in appearance and nose: a lovely cedar pencils bouquet; sweet, full of fruit, lots of tannin and still "chewable" with redcurrant scents. Surprisingly sweet, very amenable despite its tannic grip. Delicious, with 20 glorious years ahead. Last tasted April 2001. M.B.
