A COALPORT BOTANICAL GRAPE-MOULDED PART DESSERT SERVICE
Circa 1815, possibly Ansley, Haughton & Rose
Painted with specimen flowers named in English in red on the underside, the border moulded and enriched in gilt with a grape vine, gilt line rims, comprising:
A sauce-tureen, cover and stand with acorn finial, moulded oak-leaf terminal, and branch handles, 8¼in. (21cm.) long, the stand
Four lozenge-shaped dishes, 10 1/8in. (25.7cm.) long
Four shaped oval dishes, 9 5/8in. (25.4cm.) long
Eleven dessert plates, 8 5/8in. (221.8cm.) diam. (21)
