A Chinese brown stone snuff bottle
18th/19th century
of flattened pear shape on a short foot, decorated in low relief with stylised guei dragons to one side and a poetic inscription with Yu Zhi mark set within a border of two further confronting dragons to the reverse, twin lion mask handles to the sides, jadeite stopper -- 2¼in. (5.2cm.) high (neck cut down, old wear)
