four engravings, circa 1770, with hand-coloring, on laid papers; and BRUGIERE, after J.E. DESEVE (ACTIVE 18TH CENTURY), FOSSIER (ACTIVE 18TH CENTURY), and HENRI JOSEPH REDOUTE (1766-1852), Histoire Naturelle, Vers Testacés à Coquille Bivalve réguliere: Four Plates--four engravings, circa 1780, with hand-coloring, on laid papers--all published by Benard, Paris, all with margins, all with central vertical folds where previously bound, several with auxiliary folds, all with light- staining and pale scattered foxing to varying degrees, all with minor surface soiling, hand-written text in ink within the images on several plates, Vers Testacés: Pl. 200 with a diagonal crease across the lower right sheet corner, Vers Testacés: Pl. 208 with a small repaired tear in the lower right margin corner, other minor defects, in faux gilt frames with a red marbled border and French mats with wash lines, not examined out of the frames
