Two Chelsea dishes
Circa 1760, gold anchor marks
Each painted to the centre with loose bouquets of flowers and scattered sprigs, with gilt feuilles-de-choux wells, the borders painted with birds among leafy branches and moulded and gilt with C-scrolls and foliage (one dish with a firing crack to rim which extends in to a crack and with a lesser crack to the border and a small rim chip, both with some minor rubbing to the gilding and surface wear)
