A Louis XIV ormolu mounted brass inlaid ebony and boulle marquetry bureau mazarin
Inlaid overall with scrolling foliage and strapwork and floral trellis reserves, the moulded rectangular top above a frieze drawer and a covered kneehole with a door, enclosing a plain interior, flanked to either side by three drawers, with canted angles and panelled sides, on eight square tapering legs, joined by waved X-shaped stretchers, on gadrooned bun feet, remounted, the legs and stretchers replaced, incorporating earlier Boulle marquetry elements, restorations to the Boulle marquetry -- 31¼ in. (79.5 cm.) high; 47 in. (119.5 cm.) wide; 26 in. (66 cm.) deep
