A 'swings and roundabouts' vintage due to variable weather conditions. Far more successful for the high quality sweet wines, particularly Eiswein . It was in the early 1990's that the young Gunter Künstler became seriously known as a highly talented wine maker. His Eiswein not tasted but the Auslese, tasted in it's early days was lovely. Should be superb and at best now. M.B.
