A Meissen figure of Cupid
Circa 1900, blue crossed swords mark, incised F (?), Pressnummer 90, painter's red 17.
Scantilly-clad, wearing a garland of flowers in his hair, modelled standing beside a pedestal on which rest two flaming hearts which he ties with a blue ribbon, on shaped rectangular base inscribed Je les unis. within a pale-pink oval panel (one end of ribbon broken off, minute chipping to leaves and flowers of the garland)
