An English oak settle table, late 17th century
with rectangular hinging plank top, raised on arms with turned supports, the twin plank seat with a channel moulded frieze and raised on block and turned corner legs and silhouette baluster central supports joined by stretchers -- 29in. (74cm.) high (folded down), 57in. (145cm.) high (hinged up), 63in. (160cm.) long, 26½in. (67cm.) deep
