A VERY FINE AND MATURE SELECTION FEATURING A WEALTH OF TOP BORDEAUX AND BURGUNDY
Property of an Adventurous and Experienced Southern California Gentleman

Recently removed from professional temperature and humidity controlled storage.

The wealth of mature selections contained herein offer buyers several opportunitites to acquire well aged Bordeaux, Burgundy and Rhône wines ready for enjoyment. Much of this offering comes to us by way of known provenance as many of the wines were acquired at auction in London, including Christie's. As such, levels of much of the older wine are excellent, above average in some instances. However, due to the damp nature of European cellars many of the label conditions have naturally been affected. Those reflecting said condition have been noted in the lot description.

The pre-sale tasting will offer several selections from this collection for your inspection.

"Well, I suppose the is the style of wine they all try to imitate. But I must admit, it was enormously impressive, from a 'hefty' cask sample in 1967, followed by some impressive tastings in the 1980s. Deep, the wine's extract almost visible it is so thick looking. An equally rich nose, almost malty yet developing a lovely fragrance. Sweet, full-bodied, yet tannic. Made as if the grapes had not been pressed but allowed to drip their sugar-laden juice."
