"The 1992 Batard-Montrachet reveals mammoth richness, a thick, chewy, powerful, full-bodied texture, and gobs of fruit. It is still a large-scaled, monolithic wine. A wine of power and immense stature, it relies more on its super-concentrated, thick juicy fruitiness than on its elegance for its appeal. Drink it between 1994-2000.
It continues to be rare to find anything less than exciting from Bernard Morey, a red-cheeked vigneron with a fifties pompadour haircut. His wines are delicious in off years, so it is not surprising he has hit the bull's eye with the 1992s." Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, Issue 89, Oct 1993
