A TREMENDOUS PRIVATE COLLECTION FROM THE CELLAR OF A CONNOISSEUR
FEATURING MANY GREAT REDS FROM BORDEAUX AND ESPECIALLY STRONG IN CALIFORNIAN CABERNET, INCLUDING AN ALMOST UNSURPASSED SELECTION OF OPUS ONE AS WELL AS SPOTTSWOODE, SILVER OAK, CAYMUS, GRACE FAMILY AND BERINGER, MANY IN CASE QUANTITY
This cellar was amassed by a gentleman who discovered wine late in life and began collecting in the mid 1980s. Purchased mainly from friends who worked in the wine trade in the Napa Valley and direct from the wineries themselves. Clearly a red wine lover the collection is composed almost entirely of Cabernet Sauvignon based wines.
The cellar itself is temperature and humidity controlled and also houses a bar and dining area as it was used occasionally for entertaining and is clearly the central part of a wineloving household.
NOTE: Older samples pulled from this cellar were shown to be in excellent condition for their age. Our client has generously offered several additional selections that will be available for your inspection at the pre-sale tasting.
