A very good '70 and a top vintage for this Château. Though now showing some maturity it is a lovely, rich, well-balanced wine and drinking superbly. Last noted at lunch with the Detroit Commanderie de Bordeaux at the Château, May 2001 *****. MB Vintage Wine
