The case with brass handle to the inverted bell top, gilt-metal foliate cast roundel frets to the glazed sides, similar frets to the shallow-arched door, the base on block feet, the silvered and engraved dial signed Isaac Rogers London above the Roman and Arabic chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands and mock pendulum aperture, the five pillar movement with single wire fusee and knife edge verge escapement, the movement secured with brass brackets to the case
