Lot Essay

Gertrude Savill, was the younger sister of Sir George Saville 7th Baronet. Anne Savill was his elder sister who married Sir Nicholas Cole of Brancepeth and later Baron de Dognyes. Barbara Saville was the wife of Richard 4th Earl of Scarborough and younger sister and co-heir of Sir George Saville 8th and last Baronet.
