The Esses - Le Mans 1955; A fine action-study, depicting the duel in the early stages between Mike Hawthorn's Jaguar D-type (the eventual winner) and Juan-Manuel Fangio driving the Mercedes 300SLR; watercolour & gouache, with white highlights, signed by the artist, mounted in glazed frame. 20x24ins (50x60cm).
