AGERON, A SILVER AND FISHSKIN QUARTER REPEATING PAIR CASED VERGE COACH WATCH
signed F. Ageron a Paris, circa 1750.
gilt fusee movement with turned baluster pillars, pierced and chased balance cock, pull quarter repeat on a bell, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minutes, eccentric winding hole, pierced gilt hour and minute hands, blued steel centre seconds hand, case with pierced frets, outer case overlaid with fishskin and with pierced sound holes and fleur-de-lys decoration, diameter 122mm.
