An Anglo-Indian ivory veneered work box
Vizigapatam, second half 19th century
Engraved bands of trailing vines heightened with shell-lac, the pitched lobed cover with engraved monogram to knob finial, enclosing a fitted interior with various compartments, mounted on silvered metal paw feet

And a Chinese export parcel gilt lacquered tea caddy, mid 19th century, the interior fitted with twin pewter cannisters with bone knob finials to subsidary covers
