A well engineered ¾in:1ft scale (5in. gauge) model of the GWR Broad Gauge 2-2-2-2 locomotive and tender Buckeley
built by S.A. Massey from his own researches with brazed copper boiler with single superheater and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, whistle, steam brake, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin inside cylinders with Joy valve gear, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, cab-controlled cylinder drains, working leaf springs, steam-operated brake gear, draw bar buffers, dummy safety valve spring and lever, working damper, steps, hand irons and other details. Tender details include double frames, working leaf springs, hand-operated brake gear, hand feed pump, two tone whistle, tool boxes and other details, finished in green, brown, black and polished brightwork -- 30.5 x 91.5cm. (12 x 36in.). Fitted carrying boxes, documentation, tools.
