Rectangular with rounded corners, the first decorated overall with rocaille and foliage scrolls and strapwork, with chased foliate thumbpiece; the second with foliate scrolls, flowers and trelliswork corners to the cover and base, with foliate sides; the cigar-case with raised shaped borders to the cover and base, the former depicting a kremlin within foliate scroll cartouche, the base with blank cartouche in similar frame, all with gilt interiors, marked in covers and bases
