A VICTORIAN SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WITH TRAY**
Mark of James Dixon & Son, Sheffield, 1872, the tray Martin Hall & Co., Sheffield, 1886
Comprising a coffee pot, teapot, hot water jug, sugar bowl and cover, waste bowl and cream jug; each of vase form, on domed circular foot with leaf border, the bodies chased and engraved with floral garlands and bellflower swags, with beaded borders at intervals, the hinged covers with conforming decoration and lion-mask finials, the scroll handles with ram's-head joins, the coffee pot and teapot with ivory insulators, each body engraved with monogram, the rectangular tray with canted corners, the sides pierced with pales and swags, the field engraved with bright-cut decoration, the everted handles with mask joins, fully marked, the cream jug 1926
