Each campana form, on a circular base with gadrooned border, the part lobed body with two mask-clad handles, the body applied with a grape vine band, engraved on both sides with armorials, the detachable rim engraved on each side with a crest, the liners Sheffield plate, the 1812 pair engraved: No. 1 on liner and collar, the base engraved No. 1 95 .. 3, No. 2 engraved on liner and collar, the base engraved No. 2 94 .. 8, each marked on body and collar

The arms are those of Pierrepont, as borne by Charles Herbert (Pierrepont), 2nd Earl Manvers (1778-1860). The 2nd Earl succeeded his father in 1816.
