The vase-shaped body with two caryatid handles, repoussé and chased depicting a Hunt in Full Cry and a Kill, the circular foot chased with fruit and foliage, the domed cover chased with scene of hounds chasing a hare and surmounted by a cast figure of a leopard, the base later engraved From the Collection of Sir Walter Gilbey, Bt. and Made in London A.D. 1806 by Henry Nutting, marked under base and cover, handles marked 1822, finial also George IV
