A HUNTING SWORD AND A HUNTING KNIFE
The first German or French, early 19th Century, the second 18th Century
The first with straight double-edged blade of hexagonal section, and gilt-brass hilt decorated in Neo-Classical taste, the grip of fluted ivory, in associated scabbard; the second with single-edged blade double-edged at the point, cut with running foliage along the back-edge and with an animal on each side of the forte, and brass hilt with lion's head pommel and horn grip
The first with 21½in. blade, the second 17¼in. (2)
