A GERMAN HUNTING SWORD
By Eichhorn of Solingen, late 19th Century
The blade etched and gilt with animals and scrollwork within the broad fuller on each side and stamped with maker's mark on one side of the forte, the white-metal hilt with broad knuckle-guard cast with oak foliage in relief, the grip of natural staghorn inset on the front with three stag-teeth, in its original leather scabbard with white-metal mounts, complete with frog and staghorn-hilted skinning knife
