Signed 'Fourni par Lepage à Paris', early 19th Century
With sighted browned twist barrels stamped 'Joseph Delderenne' on the underside and with spring bayonet beneath, blued patent breeches each with platinum-lined touch-hole, engraved case-hardened tang, signed engraved case-hardened flat locks each with safety-catch, 'French' cock, roller, and platinum-lined rainproof pan, finely figured walnut half-stock chequered at the grip and fore-end (the latter cracked), the former carved with a boar's head, engraved case-hardened iron mounts including butt-plate with hinged butt-trap cover, the bayonet released by a blued catch in front of the trigger-guard, and most of its original finish throughout (escutcheon removed), Liège proof, the fore-stock with stocker's signature 'Corbusier', the butt stamped with the serial number 1942
