Early 19th Century
Probably reconverted from percussion, with browned octagonal sighted barrel rifled with eight grooves, engraved flat lock (parts replaced, probably associated) stamped 'Warranted', and fitted with roller and semi-rainproof pan, figured maple full stock lightly carved on the left side of the butt (repaired at the grip), full brass mounts, silver crescent moon inlaid in the cheek-piece, silver escutcheon and barrel -bolt escutcheons, set trigger, and ramrod with worm
