A Japanese stag-antler netsuke of a buffalo
19th Century
the recumbent tethered animal carved facing one side with a small child seated behind -- 2in. (5.1cm.) wide; and another antler netsuke of a rat seated on top of a bail of hay, the side with an articulated rat popping outof a small hole -- 2in. (5.1cm.) high, (minor wear).
