Each with oval bevelled plate, the shaped rectangular frame surrounded with stylised leaves, the cresting mounted with crowned armorial shields, flanked with dolphins and marks and with the inscription "SCOTORVM" and flanked by various shields and putti with musical instruments

The arms are those of Mary, Queen of Scots (1542 - 1587), the only daughter of James V of Scotland and Mary of Guise. Francois II, the Dauphin of France and Mary, Queen of Socts were married in 1558
