Circa 1820
The first pair modelled after the Meissen originals, the tailor facing to the left, riding a billy-goat and with kids in his knapsack, the wife on a nanny-goat, children in her knapsack and a baby in her arms, on scroll-moulded rocky-mound bases, enriched in overglaze enamel colours (some restoration and damages), the sleeping child modelled as a naked babe, lying on a tasselled and quilted cushion (slight chipping, one corner repaired)
