The rectangular top centred with an oval reserve depicting Pliny's Doves, after the Antique, surrounded by scrolling foliage and flowers against a white ground, the corners each with a butterfly, within a geometric patterned blue-ground outer band, within a guilloche-moulded ormolu rim, on a columnar trestle base with baluster stretcher and carved with dolphin-head feet
