two lithographs, 1949, on Arches, Mourlot's only state, Mourlot calls for five proofs, there was no edition, first inscribed '154', 'M 154 bis variante' and 'bonne variante 6/6 FM' in pencil on the reverse, second inscribed '154', 'M 154' and 'Variante 6/6 FM' in pencil on the reverse, both with margins, pale time staining, one with scattered foxing mostly in the left and right margins extending into the subject on the right, stray printing ink in the lower margin, a few occasional pale foxmarks on the reverse, second with a 7/8-in. tear at the lower left margin edge extending ½-in. into the subject, and another ¼-in. tear at the upper right margin edge (not extending into the subject), a few pale foxmarks on the reverse, otherwise both in good condition, both framed
