eleven lithographs (five in colors), 1951, on Rives and Arches, Mourlot's first, second, second intermediate (in sanguine over light grey background), third, fourth, fifth (in ochre), sixth, seventh (in ochre), eighth (black stone only), ninth and tenth (final) states, Mourlot calls for five proofs of each state except the eighth and the signed and numbered edition of 50 in the final state, first state inscribed 'Etat noir du 201/II' and 'M 201 1e etat noir' in pencil in the lower right margin corner, second plate inscribed 'M 201/2 fond couleur' in pencil in the lower right margin, second intermediate state inscribed 'M 201 1/2 sanguine une ___' in pencil in the lower margin, third state inscribed 'M 102/3 noir + .....' in pencil in the lower right margin, fourth state inscribed 'M 201/4 couleurs' in pencil, fifth state inscribed 'M 201/5 ...... du noir' in pencil in the lower right margin and '201' page 72.
