Persian manuscript on paper, 214ff. with 22ll. of fine black nasta'liq arranged in four gold-outlined columns, with four miniatures in gouache heightened with gold, additional illuminated folio at start from later manuscript written in black shikasteh, minor titles in red within panels, final folio with colophon dated middle Safar 1009 in Herat, remargined, staining, flaking of miniatures, probably defective, one folio replaced, later brown morocco binding
