AN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE, RED AND CELADON-GLAZED 'LANDSCAPE PANEL' OVIFORM VASE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)

Moulded to each side with a pair of underglaze-blue and copper-red rectangular panels painted with a fisherman in a river landscape, the reverse side inscribed with a related poem in underglaze-blue with two copper-red seals, divided by confronted stylised dragons above lappets and key-fret band at the foot, repeated at the shoulder, the waisted neck with moulded lingzhi and bamboo, flanked on either side of the shoulder with a pair of lingzhi-form handles supporting a pearl under the bulb-shaped mouth
