A Dutch Delft polychrome octagonal ribbed candlestick holder
1700-1720, marked for Willem Kool at de Drie Vergulde Astonnekens
After a silver model, decorated allover with scattered floral motifs, on large spreading domed conical foot reserved with: a bird, an insect and a brook, the flaring stem and waisted upper section further enhanced with bands of scrollwork and zigzag motifs
