woodcut printed in brown, 1934, on Strathmore Highway Laid, signed, dated and titled in pencil, inscribed 'To Malcolm and [illegible] Jan. 21. 1938. Albers', numbered 5/20 (there were also 3 proofs), printed at Black Mountain College, North Carolina, with margins, graphite additions in the center of the image, pale mat staining, traces of foxing in the margins, old glue remains at the reverse of the upper margin, a few small areas of surface soiling and staining on the reverse, otherwise in good condition, framed
