Note:
Gu Dasheng, sobriquet names Yong, Zhenzhi, and Jianshan, was a native of Huating. He passed the official examinations in the ninth year of the Shuzhi era (1652). Gu was an able painter, his landscapes following the style of Dong Yuan and Juran, while his calligraphy takes after the style of Dong Qichang.
