A PAIR OF LOUIS XVI GILTWOOD FAUTEUILS
Circa 1780
Each with an arched rectangular guilloche-carved crestrail centered by a floral wreath over a padded back and loose cushion seat covered in claret and champagne silk damask above a bowed guilloche-carved seatrail on turned tapering fluted legs, regilt, one with ink inscription 23D, each bearing the possibly spurious stamp G. IACOB and the spurious stamp FON, probably added in the late 19th century (2)
