A Chinese Islamic Market white glazed ewer and cover with later decoration
The porcelain late Ming, Incised Wanli six character mark to base
of pear-shaped form with flaring neck and everted rim, painted in green, yellow and iron red enamels with moulded tear drop-shaped panels of peony sprays on a ground of scattered precious objects, the neck with bands of stiff leaves, flowerheads and ruyi shaped panels -- 8 3/8in. (21.2cms) high, (slight damage).
