A Nishapur cream and brown glazed pottery bowl
10th century
with rounded sides and short foot, painted to the interior with a broad band of kufic inscription -- 7 7/8in. (20cms) diam; and a smaller Nishapur pottery bowl with flaring sides, painted with three stylised kufic inscriptions to the rim -- 5¾in. (14.5cms) diam, (restoration and damages).
