A Kashan lustre pottery bowl
Late 12th century
painted in ochre and cream glazes with stylised birds amongst shaped scrolling foliate panels, within a comb pattern border, the exterior with a broad band of scrolling foliage -- 7in. (17.8cms) diam, (broken and restored).
