the fusee movement stamped F. Rochat a Geneve, 543, with 'tulip' marks, four pairs of cams playing in sequence 1-2-3-4, female winding key and bird with coloured plumage, swivelling head, perch and moving wings, bone beak and tail, in silver-gilt case with canted corners and key compartment at rear, engine-turned and engraved on all sides, the champlevé top with four quatrefoils of flowers, foliate-chased grille with scalloped edge and oval lid with enamelled floral spray on a pale blue ground -- 3 7/8in.
